URBAN CHALLENGE IS HAPPENING--GET EXCITED!
SATURDAY 24 to SUNDAY 25 JULY

The Committee is looking for Crews to run Activity Bases, assist on the weekend in a variety of roles and participate in a great Venturer PR and recruiting event!

ROVERS RUNNING ACTIVITY BASES are only required to run their bases on SATURDAY if the Crew is unable to participate on Sunday; however, if you can assist with the night activities, and the Sunday city challenges we would love your help!
(Only Rovers who are intending on staying the night at QSC, getting a UC cap, etc. are required to make the activity fee payment of $25.00).

Please see below the links to the appropriate forms for the weekend.
A quick run down of the weekend:

Saturday is all about the Venturer teams completing Activity Bases, run by Rover Crews, from Zones 1 to 5 in the Translink network. Teams will need to navigate to Bases using public transport. There is no set path for the Teams to take; each team is given a Passport which details all the Bases (and the types of challenges, and points available), as well as Roadblock (smaller challenges en route) and photograph challenges. All Bases and Roadblocks have set opening times and it is up to the Venturers to decide how best to manage their time to maximise their points. It will be nigh impossible for a Team to complete every challenge, so time management is the key.

Sunday is all about the Venturer teams completing the challenges listed in their Passports and various Roadblocks around the CBD. On Sunday they will only be given a Zones 1 to 2 ticket so the game is restricted and the intensity is higher. Only about two of the Activity Bases from Saturday will re-open on Sunday and there will be one new Activity Base only available on Sunday.

Below is the draft run programme for the weekend, just to give you an idea about the time frames that the Venturers will have to stick to. Also below is a sneak preview of what the Venturer Passport will look like.
If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to call me (0413 073 863) or email ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ). Otherwise, I look forward to receiving your application forms!

Yours in Rovering,
