QBRE
What is QBRE?
QBRE stands for "Queensland Branch Rover Executive" which is an elected body of Rovers that keeps Queensland Rovers running.
How is The QBRE Selected?
The QBRE is selected by the QBRC (Queensland Branch Rover Council) this council is made up of all the Regional Representatives from across Queensland. Your regional rep should contact their region before hand and ask the region what they think.
Do we get to vote for chairmain?
No. The assistant chairman automatically assumes the role of chairman. You do vote for the assistant chairman. The one exception is that if the assistant chairman does not want to take up the chairman role.
Who choses the Regional Rep?
The Regional Reps should be elected in by the Crews in the region; each Rover Crew has 1 vote. Elections should take place each year normally around September; the regional Rep is responsible for reporting the needs of the region to the QBRE.
